Communication Campaign & Merger Communication Strategy
During my Communication Campaigns course at UNC Charlotte, my team developed a strategic communication campaign focused on the merger of the Writing, Rhetoric, and Digital Studies (WRDS) Department into the Department of Communication Studies. The campaign aimed to increase awareness and understanding among current WRDS and Communication Studies students by clearly communicating what the merger meant, what changes students could expect, and what aspects of their academic experience would remain the same.
To guide our campaign strategy, we conducted both primary and secondary research to better understand student concerns, communication gaps, and overall awareness surrounding the merger. Throughout the project, I contributed to campaign messaging, audience research, communication strategy, and creative materials designed to make information more accessible and engaging for students.
